Choose encoding For SAP Unicode systems you need to save the scripts in UTF-8 format, otherwise special characters, e.g. Umlauts, will not be displayed correctly and screen elements containing these characters are not recognized.

The script editor supports UTF-8. With the "Save as..." dialog you can save an ANSI script in UTF-8 and vice versa.

New scripts are always created in the most recently used format. In the title line for each file in the editor the format (ANSI or UTF-8) is also indicated.
